Dear Parents,
November is the time we take a moment to stop and reflect on all the things we have to be thankful for each and every day. I think you will agree with me, that here at Rev. Brown we can be thankful for many blessings. Above all else, are the beautiful children you have allowed us to educate both spiritually and academically; they are both a treasure and a pleasure. Your children come from caring dedicated families, who are willing to share their time and talent, and treasure.
The generosity of the parents and families has been overwhelming since the beginning of the year. We appreciate all of your time, talents, and donations. Rev. Brown is so blessed to have parents like you to help build our wonderful school communinty. This continues to be a fantastic year.
Happy Thanksgiving and God bless!

George A. Brown Memorial School, a Roman Catholic parochial school in the Diocese of Paterson, offers programs for children in pre-school through grade 8. Rev. Brown was the first Catholic school in Sussex County and was named for the first pastor of Our Lady of the Lake Church. The school has built a reputation for developing strong spiritual values in an equally strong academic environment. It is a reputation gained through the efforts of dedicated teachers at all grade levels, hard work and diligence on the part of our students, and the participation and support of school parents. Staff development and curriculum improvements have also had a positive impact on student achievement, as demonstrated by our students' and school's accomplishments.
STAR SCHOOL: Rev. Brown School's "Star School" status was renewed for an additional five years, commencing July 1, 2005. The award was granted for the school's outstanding success in promoting student achievement in the subjects of math, science, and technology, particularly in grades six, seven, and eight. Congratulations to all who made this possible!.
