Inclement Weather

With the arrival of inclement weather it will be helpful if everyone understands the school closing process: If your school district decides to close after running a bus to bring your child to Rev. Brown school, an instant alert will be sent to you if your child is going to be coming home early due to your district closing early.

You must determine your local public school district's plans.  If your local school district closes, delays an opening, or dismisses early, you must plan on following your local public school district's schedule. The only exception to this rule occurs when the Sparta Police have determined that the town roads here are not safe.  In this instance Sparta Township Schools, Pope John High School and Rev. Brown School must close, even if your local school district opens!
