The Reverend Brown Early Childhood Development Program offers a faith-filled curriculum for 3-, 4- and 5-year-old children in a warm and nurturing setting.  We maintain student-to-teacher ratio, which guarantees your child the individual attention he or she deserves. Each child’s progress and needs are assessed through individual portfolios and anecdotal records maintained by the teachers. The students will explore all aspects of kindergarten readiness through planned activities, projects, and guided use of the learning centers. Individualized instruction will be given to children based on teacher assessments.
The Reverend Brown Early Childhood Development Program offers three- and five-day options so the children can be fully integrated in all aspects of our school community. All students experience Art, Music, Physical Education, Makerspace, and Spanish while attending the program.
By participating in our Reverend Brown Early Childhood Development Program, the following outcomes are expected. Your child will:

  • Begin to appreciate that God is loving and caring
  • Feel special and secure in God’s love
  • Appreciate that he/she is a part of God’s family
  • Develop a sense of respect and love for himself/herself and others
  • Begin to understand the importance of his/her feelings and emotions

  • Experience at least one language other than English
  • Participate in activities that initiate simple greetings and introductions in other languages
  • Participate in cultural activities and celebrations to develop awareness of diverse cultures

  • Develop self-awareness and interpersonal relationship skills
  • Develop an awareness of family and family traditions
  • Develop community and career awareness
